2019 Lambs

2019 Lambs

Since the North American Shetland Sheep Association (NASSA)  website allocates only 10 slots per farm we will be using this blog site to show our additional sheep - we started with our 2017& 2018 lambs;  Here are our 2019 lambs  -  My cell:  312-613-0047

Somehow I managed to merge two of my blogs...
If the pictures of our 2019 lambs do not show up here , you can either
1) click on the little 'read more' tab at the end of the ram's description below
or
2) in the right hand column under blog archives click on '2019 lambs'

2019 Sires

We used two of our home grown rams for the 2019 lamb crop - D'Artagnan and Coltrane. We are very pleased with the outcome.

D'Artagnan  sire: Ulysses S34431; dam: Natasha S34433

d’Artagnan is a very handsome silver grey ram. His fleece is soft & lustrous. His first shearing lamb’s fleece was awarded 3rd place in the 2013 Finger Lakes Fiber Festival Fleece competition. He also took 4rth place in the 2016 competition His horns are widespread with a good curl. He has a particularly nice personality, having inherited his mother's sweet nature.
