2017 Lambs

Since the North American Shetland Sheep Association (NASSA)  website allocates only 10 slots per farm we will be using this blog site to show our additional sheep - starting with our 2017 lambs.

2017 Ram   Coltrane
Sire: Mapleton Arcadius  S35681    *   Dam;  Can Too Sky  S32399

This year, we bred one of our own home-grown rams.  Coltrane has a number of traits that we would like to see passed on:  his magnificent wide spread horns, excellent conformation, a nice easy going personality, as well as long soft crimpy fleece.  In fact his mother was awarded 3rd place in the 2015 Finger Lakes Fiber Festival Raw Fleece competition.
